Antarctica New Zealand

Antarctica New Zealand is the government agency charged with carrying out New Zealand’s activities in Antarctica supporting world leading science and environmental protection.

 

With almost 60 years’ experience working in Antarctica, New Zealand is recognised a leader in the international treaty system, and has a strong commitment to the natural environment.

 

Scott base is an Antarctic research facility whereby SmartAsset software is utilised to maintain all fixed and mobile assets that support this base. These assets include water treatment, generators for power, general buildings maintenance and support equipment such as of hagglunds, skidoos, dozer, excavators, loaders and 4×4’s to name a few.
